Procurement Announcement: Request for Proposal for Food Program Contract (24-25 School Year)
Village of Excellence Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of the Request for Proposal (RFP) for our Food Program contract for the 2024-2025 school year. We are seeking qualified and experienced vendors to partner with us in providing nutritious and delicious meals to our students. Click here to review and print the RFP.

Scope of Services:
- Daily breakfast, lunch, and snack services for students
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local nutrition guidelines
- Menu planning with a focus on healthy, balanced meals
- Food preparation, delivery, and serving
- Adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
Proposal Requirements:
- Vendor qualifications and experience
- Detailed service and menu plan
- Pricing and cost structure
- References from previous or current clients
- Taste Test

Timeline
Saturday, July 13, 2024- Solicitation available to public
Wednesday July 17, 2024 -Proposal questions due
Thursday, July 18, 2024 -Proposal questions answered by publishing Addendum 1, if applicable
Friday July 26, 2024- Proposal submissions due by 10:00 am (time) EST
Friday July 26, 2024- SFA review of Proposals
Monday July 29, 2024- SFA recommendation to FDACS and FDACS review
July 30, 2024- Contract Awarded
August 7, 2024- Vendor begins service

**Question 1: It appears that the number of units listed for breakfast, lunch, and snacks will not meet your students as presented. Can you provide additional information regarding this in your contract?
**Response: Yes, after reviewing the contract, we identified the need for modification. Therefore, the updated amounts for each unit for Breakfast, Lunch, and Afternoon Snacks have been adjusted and are reflected in the addendum.
