Enrollment

The Village of Excellence Academy is always adding members to our family. We accept students year-round, providing there is space available in our classrooms. We ask that you complete an online application and email our registrar once you have completed it. Her name is Kaylee Simms and she can be reached at ksimms@villageofexcellence.com within the office hours of 7 am-3:30 pm M-F. Please allow 24-48 hours to receive a response in regards to your application before reaching out again.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT:

• Birth certificate

• Parent/Guardian driver’s license

• Proof of Residence

• Immunization (Form DH 680)

• Physical (list form and specifics)

• Special program documents (EP, IEP, 504, ESOL), if applicable

• Custody court documents, if applicable

• Report Card(s) and State Testing Score(s) (if applicable)

  Controlled Border Enrollment

   

  Florida has an open borders policy. Controlled Open Enrollment allows a parent from any school district in the state to enroll his or her child in and transport his or her child to any public school, including charter schools, that has not reached capacity.

  We are required to update this information every 12 weeks--please note that the capacity number may change during the 12-week period as family members may withdraw or new families apply.

We suggest you go ahead and apply if you are interested to at the very least be added to the school's waiting list if there's no current availability and/or reach out to our school for the status.
